How to play

How every game works

Every game in three simple steps. When you play alone there is never a timer. The five daily games give points (up to 1,000 each); practice and extras never do. After every answer you see if it was right, and why.

Daily games

The same five games for everyone, new every day at midnight (UTC). Each one is worth up to 1,000 points.

Rank Radar

  1. You see one country and four subjects, like coastline, forest or population.

  2. Tap the subject where this country ranks highest in the world. Your tap is your answer.

  3. Best choice: gold. 2nd best: silver, 3rd: bronze. Six countries a day.

Tip: Think relative: a small country can still be world top in forest or coastline.

World Trip

  1. Five stops, each a different mini-game: a flag, a capital, the map, neighbours and sizes.

  2. Tap the answer you think is right. There is no timer, take your time.

  3. After every answer you see if it was right, with a fun fact. Each stop is worth up to 200 points.

Tip: Everyone gets the same trip today. A new one starts at midnight (UTC).

Side by Side

  1. Two countries and one subject of the day, for example land neighbours.

  2. Tap the country with the higher value.

  3. One country stays for the next round and a new one joins. Ten rounds, 100 points each.

Tip: Unsure? Think about size, climate and where the country lies.

Country Mosaic

  1. The board hides four countries in tiles: names, flags, shapes, facts and more.

  2. Tap one tile of each kind that belong to the same country, then tap "Check match".

  3. Each country is worth 250 points. A wrong try or a hint for that country costs points.

Tip: Start with a flag and name you are sure about. Practice boards never cost points.

Clue Trail

  1. Find the mystery country. Clues come one by one: continent, a neighbour, capital, flag.

  2. Only open the next clue when you need it.

  3. Pick the country. In the daily game: 200, 150, 100 or 50 points after 1, 2, 3 or 4 clues.

Tip: The fewer clues you need, the better you know the world.

Extras

Bonus games for curious minds, also new every day. No points, just fun.

World Duel

  1. You get five country cards. Each round Roviko plays a country on a subject.

  2. Pick a card from your hand that scores higher than Roviko's country.

  3. Every card only once! Save strong cards for the right subject. There is always one perfect route.

Tip: Look at all five subjects at the top first and plan which card goes where.

Mystery country

  1. Read the clue about a special place somewhere in the world.

  2. Stuck? Tap for another clue.

  3. Pick the country. You see the answer and the story behind it.

Tip: A new mystery country every day, just for fun: no points.

  3. Tap "Confirm order" and see which places were right.

Tip: Size means land area, not population.

With friends

Play together live in a private room.

Private rooms

  1. Create a room and share the code or link. 2 to 12 players, guests are welcome.

  2. The host picks the games, the number of questions and the timer.

  3. Everyone gets the same question. Right and quick answers earn points; the ranking shows who is on top.

Tip: Only rooms use a timer. Playing alone is always at your own pace.
